I lost my mother in 2007. At the same time my company was changing its group RRSP plan. Mary was part of the team that presented the new plan to our office. I had a good feeling from Mary and the rest of the team and approached them about moving my current RRSP accounts and how to deal with funds coming from my mother’s estate. After meeting with the team I decided to move my accounts (this was in 2007, just before the financial crisis), and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Yes there were some impacts from the crisis, but far less than anything my friends encountered, and the recovery was much faster. I have never regretted the move, it was one of my best decisions.

More important than the financial results has been the hands-on management of my accounts and the honest up front information provided by Mary and her team.
